Kev, I completely agree. At the last game I went to I was constantly kicked and had mongs shouting in my ear throughout the game (which they weren't even watching).

I cannot for the life of me understand why they've shoved us all into the little stand, and I feel sorry for anyone who has to stand in driving rain, sleet or snow over the next few months.

I'd just like to add that the organisation at Kingston Park is awful!! I've got a broken leg at present, and was unable to get a seat in the first half so had to stand up. At half time, I grabbed a seat. 5 minutes into the second half I was told to shift by a steward, as I was in a reserved seat. Prick!

Eventually I got a seat in the middle of a horrible bunch of charva twats.

If someone in a wheelchair had turned up, there would have been no way for them to see the match either. Disabled facilities were awful - surely there are laws against this.

I've sent an e-mail to the club complaining about the seating and disabled provision on Monday night. It's now Thursday afternoon, and I've still had no response - I'm not surprised...

Cheers for that Paul, lets hope he can make the breakthrough then, we could do with more lads coming through the system and into the first-team instead of splashing out all kinds of money on others.

Carroll's got a lot of height, and his natural strength is his aerial ability (which was used to good efect when we stuck him in defence for an Academy game last season). He's improving all the time, but we'll have to see how he turns out. We're using him as a targetman of sorts.

I reckon Luque was getting some match fitness ahead of the trip to Italy, but maybe it was just some football to keep him happy.

How good is Andy Carroll, Paul? What are his strengths and what kind of forward is he? He's supposed to be a good prospect like.

Anyway, good win by the sounds of it. Interesting that Luque featured, I wonder if he'll get on against Palermo...
